For tomorrow, please complete 4 problems in Ch. 9.1 and 4 problems in Ch. 9.2 for review. You may choose all 8 problems on your own (challenge yourself, this is your review of these sub-chapters).
We will move on to Chapter 9.3 on Tuesday.
With a focus on Test Best prep, we will move slowly through the beginning of Ch. 9. Tonight there will be no homework. Expect to begin work in 9.2 during class tomorrow.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Please complete all of the 8 guided practice questions in chapter 9.2. You will have to read the examples in order to complete each of the problems.
We will discuss any questions or concerns you have tomorrow.
Please complete the following problems in chapter 9.1
1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 19, 21
That’s right! No homework due tomorrow, Thursday, March 13th.
There is nothing assigned for tomorrow, March 12, 2014. Enjoy your friends’ Investigation Fair projects.
Please write a letter to any famous person (living, dead, or un-dead) explaining a mathematical concept from Chapter 8 (e.g. exponential growth, exponential decay, etc.). Please share this with me on google docs or you may write it by hand. Please include a header with your information. Also, you must write two paragraphs. Each paragraph must have 4-6 sentences.
You all did something like this several months ago, and did a great job. I look forward to reading your letters.
Please complete all the odd problems in the chapter review sections (i.e. all odd problems between pages 543 – 546).
Very sorry for the delay.
